Special collector’s Edition of Official U.S. Mint Presidential Medal 24kts. Gold Electroplated by the Postal Commemorative Society. This cover bears the 5cents Appomattox Centenary stamp of 1965 and the 18 cents U.S. Flag stamp of 1981. In 1865, Ulysses S. Grant accepted Lee’s surrender at Appomattox, ending the Civil War.
